Haha! I've seen some wacky stuff before. One time like a year ago, it posted a Daily Deal for a -15% discount. Right, that's for MORE than the list price.
I'm pretty sure that human beings don't create the Daily Deals. They're automated: some piece of code chooses a random item from the catalogue and applies a random discount within certain parameters. So I'm guessing the stupid ones are bugs in the program.
