About an hour ago, I posted a chapter I’ve been working on on and off for a week.
I just checked the blog, and it’s not displayed. I checked both my drafts and my published filters on blog posts, and it’s not displayed. The posts go 6.31, which is published, to 6.33, which is draft.
I just double-checked, and there is no way to delete a post from the edit page, so I didn’t randomly click the wrong button. (Whew — if it were possible, I’d have done it.)
I’m going to go to bed now and just hope that this is a Blogger hiccup and the post will appear by morning.
ETA: Whew. Somehow the post got back-dated to March 11. I suppose that’s when I laid out the pictures for the post (I do basic picture organizing in clumps of several posts, then actually lay them out and add text later). Still, that’s never happened before. So weird. But I’ll take it. I really didn’t want to have recreate that post.
Yeah, I don't see another one between this one and Existential. That is terrible!
Oh- I see you've added a note since I saw this on my phone. I'm glad you've got the post and found it! So is it the one after Existential? Story-wise, I mean?
Ok, I see it now, 6.32, Smart, but when I clicked Newer Post from Existential it didn't come up.
I don't think it's going to show up on anyone's feed or subscription, and I don't know how to fix that. I changed the date/time to the actual approximate time it was posted, but I'm subscribed to my own blog, and it never showed up as a new post.
I believe now, though, if you click Newer Post from 6.31, it will take you to this post, and Newer Post from here will take you to 6.32.
When you changed the time it showed up on my Google + feed. I'm so glad it was there– any post would be a pain to lose, but after reading that one with Sawyer and Manisha, I realized how hard that would be to have to re-write.
Whew. That's good news. It never did show up on my RSS feed.
